Who he is

François de Ribaucourt may have majored in web design, but he was committed early on to pursue photography. While still in College, he received an offer to assist the teacher of the photography class. At only 22, he was regularly recruited by event agencies, often short of one good and no-nonsense photographer to shoot Brussels’ most hyped events. His network expanded and his reputation grew. François de Ribaucourt was soon covering major corporate events and shooting on location.

He became an accredited photographer at the European Commission and travels frequently around Europe. He continues to cover a host of private and seasonal events too. His appetite for photo-journalism, reportage, music and extreme sports have already taken him to Mexico’s Caribbean Coast, North Africa, on a European tour with upcoming Rock band Puggy and on airfields in Switzerland to report international humanitarian missions.

Whatever the subject, he tries to approach it with a fresh eye, bringing his experience and creativity into the mix. Every shoot is different, and he always adapt his style and technique according to the job at hand, client demands and budget considerations.
